Sony DVP-PQ1 (Sony Picot) and VCD

According to the instructions , Picot can read VCD MP3, CDR and CDRW.

I bought a VCD disk and plays perfectly.

If I use a CDRW disk to hold VCD, it won't play. The same disc, used for MP3, plays perfectly.

Downloaded the VCD samples at vcdhelp.com, and they wouldn't play. Any hint?

I don't have the Sony DVP-PQ1 PSYC, but I plan on buying one for my wife. You might try different brands of CD-RW's.

I want to findout if this player plays XSVCD. It seems to play everything else.
