VCD issue on Acoustic Solutions DVD421

Hi people,

Hope somebody can help me with this. I found a similar post but unfortuneatly it didnt have a reply!

I have the Acoustic solutions DVD 421 and i have read all the hacks on this site relating to it. My problem however is that I cannot get VCDs to play, instead i get a message saying 'wrong disc'.

The VCD i am trying to play was burnt by a friend and works fine on my pc, the file formatt seems to be MPEG, so far thats all I can tell.

So can anyone tell me why it isnt working? is it the discs (I have severall all of the same MPEG formatt)? or is the dvd player up the spout?

Does the player support CD-R/W discs? If not, theres your problem

Any other ideas what could be wrong? I want to buy some VCDs off ebay but dont really want them if they wont run on the DVD player!!!
