Hi i've tried all the templates to fit a movie on a cd but the dvd player doesn't play them properly.I downloaded Ice Age and it is 81 minutes and when i converted it to vcd with Tmpge it made the file 829,746kb but when you load it in Nero as a a vcd it says it is 717,000kb(just a little to big.
So i figured i would cut the credits off and the movie would be under 80 minutes and under 700 mbs,but when i cut the credits off the file became 770,365kb but when i loaded it into nero it says the file is still 770,365.
Why did it not shrink the size in nero and is there anyway to put an 80 minute movie on a standard vcd template.
Thanx

I've done the same thing with 'The Animal' > the MPEG file was well over 700mg but under 80 min & Nero burnt the VCD just fine...go by the run time of the movie...

Hi
I agree with Gehenna. go into tmpgenc and in the source range drop the
credits but look at the runtime to make sure its under 80minutes and you
will be ok.

Hi guys thanx for your replies ,but even after i do this when i drag it to nero it won't burn because of the size even though the time is under 80 minutes.
Am i missing something
Thanx -
Exactly how did you cut off the credits? Since your resulting cut file is larger I think you did something wrong. 717 > 770 means your file got bigger so I am wondering exactly what heppenned. Sound more like you re-encoded it or something instead of using the MPG cut in TMPEGnc.

Can you go into preferences in nero and make sure your
yellow marker is set at 79mins and your red marker is set at 80mins.
otherwise I am not sure what else is wrong.
