  1. i used intervideo wincoder. for some reason when i use vdubb i get huge frame loss even when i capture on low resolution and with picvideo or huyffy . i get around 60-80% frame loss and i dont compress my sound. I got a 40 gig hd 5200 rpm / 1.600 ghz amd xp / g3 ti 200 128 mb ddr tv-in
i record directly from my vhs with tv-composite. Anyone got a clue or could lead me to a better capturing ? ive done some test and the best capture i got so far was capturing directly in divx (which make no sense)
i get around 10-20 % fram lost in divx. ty

  2. Try installing a new driver for your capture card.

Make sure your hard drive is running in DMA mode.

    Defrag your hard drive.

Try installing a new video card driver, or turn off preview during capture.

Install a faster or better encoder for video compression (Mjpeg).

Close down all other running programs during capturing.
