    hi i have nero 5.5.9.17
    there is no option to create a dvd no icons even in the wizard the dvd option is greyed out
    i thought this software could burn dvd
    any clues

    This version can burn dvd's - I use it!

    Do you have multiple burners - like a CD writer and a DVD writer? Make sure you have selected your dvd burner before opening the wizard.

    It's possible that nero does not recognise yr writers what writer have got?

    i found out how to get it
    on this web page


    I can not select DVD in the upper left corner because it only say CD there
    Your DVD is maybe not supported. If you are going creating a Nero DVD Image but don't have a DVD Drive select File->Preferences and under Expert features select Enable Image Recorder for all formats
