Hi folks. Well, I'm a complete beginner when it comes to video editing. I am going to make a music video for fun with a friend. She will choose a song in the charts, learn the words and practice her dance moves. I will be filming with just one camera (GR-DVP7.Digital/firewire). We will do three or four takes of her doing the same dance routine filmed from different angles and such. I then want to edit the four takes in Premiere 6.5, selecting bits from each take and putting them all together on one track, in sync with the music, as is done with proper music videos. What is the best way to do this? Is it possible to have all four takes running side by side in Premiere, all in sinc with each other, so that I can just use bits from each, or will I have to chop up the takes into clips before adding them to the time line? And should I use timecode? Please help x
