    Just my thought, but I'd make a slide show with slow transitions between the principals using just the two people. Storyboard the shots and find two 'actors' and maybe a couple of minor actors for bit parts. Backgrounds would be irrelevant. Concentrate on close ups with the background out of focus. It will need a bit of directing but that's what the storyboard is for. Show them together, splitting up, with others that don't work, then back together finally.

    Expressions and arm movements tell a lot, say for showing an argument. Shots over the shoulder help also to keep the actors linked.
