I am capturing from a analog camera with the wintv pvr 250 hauppage tv card to dvd sp format with a cbr. (don't know why, i think it is the best quality). I want to make one disc vcd with Ulead dvd workshop 1.2.

The problem is the first time i can't use chapters, so i go immediatly to finish and choose for make disc/create disc image (ixa, wich i also do not understand because i just want to make a mpeg1 file) so when i then start finishing it takes a few hours to finish. Then when i reopen the videofile in dvd workshop it is possible to add chapters but when i do this there are two questions i have:
1,5 hours of video don't fit on a 80 minute cd? (vcd quality), so i must mark out and mark in with dvd workshop. Where can i read info about this on the internet or something? because the menu then doesn't is correct anymore?)
Two: when i finish it takes again a few hours to make the outputfiles. This is i have read in this forum, because he is resamling the clip. But how can i change the setting in workshop for vbr and cbr? and how can i make sure he isn't converting the clip twice?

Try update your vision to 1.3. just download the update patch file.
I's using v1.3, and I can mix Mpeg-2 and Mpeg-1 (VCD) file in one DVD-R disk without any problem and the menu and chapters works fine.
