    I burned a DVD-RW and it played fine on my stand alone DVD player and Xbox, but not my PS2 (despite this site stating that PS2 can play DVD-RWs). Does this mean my PS2 also won't play DVD-Rs? Thanks!

    I beleive you need a small and simple hardware modification to allow writable media to not be rejected.
    Best to visit you local computer fair, car boot or add in paper.
