Hi,
I want to make cd copies of my svcd collection, I am using Nero to just do a CD to CD copy, do the same rules of burning at 4x to 8x apply or does it matter when I am just burning one cd to the other ??
I know my player (JVC) likes cds burned at no more than 12x but wondering will this still matter with a cd to cd copy.
Thanks for any help
Patrick

I know some people say burn at lower speed for VCD, but I really think this is burner and media dependant. I have a lite-on 52x24x52 and use intenso 48 speed cdr's. I burn my VCD's and do direct disc copies both at 52 speed, using nero. The only way to find out what speed you can safely burn at is to try it for your media and burner and see how things turn out.
