  1. Hi there. I'm have a SONY Digital PC101 Camcorder and obviusly after paying the money I want to get the best out of it!

    1. I'm currenty using capturing from the camera to a .AVI and then using the produce tool (thorugh VIDEOWAVE 5) to create a second .AVI file. BUT this produce tool allows be to run the first .aVI through a CODEC for which I'm using HUFFY codec (is this correct so far?)

    2. Next I'm using TMPEG to convert it to a MPEG 2 file as a SVCD.

    3. Next I'm using NERO to burn onto a SVCD before playing happily on my standalon SONY 535 DVD player.

Are there at stages at which I could change/take out/add to increase my final SVCD (bitrates/other codecs)? I'm not bothered about how long things take to convert etc.

Am I using the CODEC in the correct place? Thanks for your time and help.
