when i convert subs to ssa for mix with avi file and than convert to vcd/svcd/dvd i see the output file (ssa) in wrong font!
but when i load the same ssa sub to viplay the font are fine
any ide?

Have you tried frameserving with Avisynth to either CCE or TMPEG?
You can do it all in one go with the .SSA format subs to be hardcoded
to your output MPEG file.
the subs display at the specified time for the specified duration but
are NOT SELECTABLE.
I'm at work now but will post the script I used later if you want.
