Hi,
Two video files are analyzed by Mediainfo.
One has Writing library = x264 core 164 r3094 bfc87b7
The other has Writing library = x264 core 164 r3190 7ed753b
What’s the key difference between the both while playing them?

probably nothing due to the library, but probably something because of the useed setting,... (both are ~2 years apart, but during that time mainly code/speed optimization was applied)
Don't expect an r3190 encode to automatically be smaller or visibly better than an r3094 encode at the same CRF. The differences are generally small and content-dependent. More importantly, x264's preset/tune/options dominate the result.
=> I doubt there is any visible if the same setting were used.users currently on my ignore list: deadrats, Stears555, marcorocchini
