How to download in HD from M6+?

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to download a 1080p stream from M6+ (a French VOD platform). Because of the L1 DRM restrictions (SD only for Widevine L3), I am attempting to use PlayReadyProxy2 along with a valid .prd file to bypass this and retrieve the keys for the HD stream.

However, I'm running into an issue: the web player gets stuck in an infinite reload loop as soon as the extension intercepts the challenge and I don't have my cmd box generated.

Here is my current setup:

• Target site: M6+ (6play) (https://www.m6.fr/desperate-housewives-p_840/saison-8-pisode-1-c_11248415)
  
• Extensions: PlayReadyProxy2 (.prd from sl3000 device properly loaded) or WindevineProxy 2 with a L3 wvd file)
  
• Result: With WindevineProxy2 I can only download up to 540p with this specific program (season 8 of Desperate Housewives). I didn't have this issue with the previous seasons. I tried with other programmes such as entertainment shows and there is no problem downloading 1080p. Also, I can't get PlayReadyProxy2 to work... Maybe I'm doing something wrong.

Does anyone know what I might be doing wrong?

Just to give some context on why I specifically need the M6+ version: I am working on a personal muxing/archiving project for this show. The M6 stream provides a specific European 1080p master (running at 25fps, often with localized French on-screen text). I use this specific video source as the base to sync with my own custom audio tracks and subtitles. Standard WEB-DL releases from other international platforms usually run at 23.976fps or feature different broadcast cuts, which would completely break my current audio-syncing workflow

Well, before playing the video, I do have the 1080p URL, but I don't have the corresponding license; the only valid license I have is for the 540p version. That is why the 1080p video remains encrypted—the MPD URL is different.

I have the same question. No matter what I try scripting I'm still only getting a single key up to 720. Are you using an L1 to get 1080p ?

first disable widevine from the edge browser
go to edge://flags
search for widevine and disable it
