Need help, video thumbnail and walmart dvr playback upside down

Played good on Dvr, but sync noticeable a little off on piano part. I feel the file made in post 35 was better in that regard.

My last attempt. If this version also stutters then there is nothing more I can do to fix this issue.

Try reduce keyint to 30. Also add all the other settings from this post:

I think it's more the framerate, than the stream specs.
See my sample at post #40 (1920x1080, 23.976fps), playing well on OP's walmart dvr.

New information:
I looked carefully at the upside down video (post 1 in this thread) and see that there is sync and stuttering issues. I didn't notice this before because the upside down issue swamped my evaluation. Bottom line: dvr will not play well videos with both together high resolution (1080) and high frame rate (above 30).

Thank you for confirming the stuttering issue is caused by the dvr. So a downgrade of the original video is necessary to be able to play on the dvr.

Are these what you call "stutter"?
I made a shorter clip with the "glitches".
The first part you can see the video have a short corruption. Sort of breaks up horizontally.
Then at the start of the piano playing in the area of his shoulders & head .
Sometimes another one later. But not every time.
Then some wobble of the man & bicycle caught by the camera.

This clip is 1280x720 30 fps so should play on your DVR or PC.
I wanted to make sure this is what you call "stutter".

Did you also try it with Avidemux?
With that you can easily experiment with some settings and formats.
Try these MP4/MKV versions i created using the older Avidemux 2.77 on a Windows 7 32bit system.
Also a MOV version using Avidemux 2.82, 2.77 does not support MOV export.

The video from the first post was recorded on a 180gr rotated phone. So the playback was upside down.
The goal was to modify the video for viewing the right way up.
According to the OP the upside down video played without stutter on his DVR
After rotating the video and leaving the resolution and framerate (1920x1080@59.94) intact the OP noticed that the modified video stuttered on playback.
Multiple rotated versions were created and only video's with reduced resolution or framerate played without stutter.
The OP finally concluded, after viewing the video carefully on his DVR, that the upside down video from the first post was also stuttering on playback.

Conclusion:
The DVR is not capable to play video 1920x1080@59.94. By downgrading the resolution and/or the framerate the DVR is able to play the video without stuttering.
So the problem of the stuttering playback video is solved.
It is now up to the OP to decide what video to use on his DVR. I think he has already settled for a video with 1280x720@59.94 specs
