  1. Hi,

is it possible to convert some mp4 files into mp3 in one step with Handbrake, with the same file names but different extensions (mp4 -> mp3)?

  2. Simply No.

I use dbPowerAmp Music Converter for doing this.
I have an old version which was free.
It is now payware & I believe in a bundle of their software.

XMedia Recode is freeware & can do what you want.

As far as I Know ProWo's Clever doesn't do this. Not yet anyway.

  5. No, HandBrake only supports video-to-video conversion tasks and cannot convert a video to audio, such as MP4 to MP3. For this purpose, I recommend MiniTool Video Converter and 123Apps Audio Converter. The former can convert up to 5 MP4 files to MP3 simultaneously. The latter is a free online tool. I also used it to batch convert 5 MP4 videos to MP3s, and it was quite fast.
