  1. Hi everyone,

I'd like to share a tool I built called MediaFixer v1.0.4 - a free, open-source desktop application that helps you clean up and standardize your entire media library automatically.

If you have a large collection of movies or TV shows with broken audio streams, messy metadata, or incompatible formatting, MediaFixer can fix all of that in batch with just a few clicks.

    Key Features:
    - Automatically fixes broken or incompatible audio streams
    - Removes unwanted metadata and title tags from video files
    - Ensures compatibility with all modern media players
    - Batch processing for entire folders of movies or TV shows
    - Simulation mode: preview all changes before applying them
    - No FFmpeg knowledge required - the built-in Setup Wizard downloads and configures FFmpeg automatically
    - Multilingual: English & German (auto-detects system language)

Platforms: Windows (EXE) & Linux (binary)

    GitHub / Download: https://github.com/sirbenris/MediaFixer

Feedback and suggestions are very welcome!

  3. I tried this on my LG TV media player unfortunately video file not recognised. However good old Handbrake made the video file playable.

  4. Hi. Looks promising. Does it works without reencoding? Do You focus on modern formats or still supporting older like avi (xvid), mpeg etc?

because I'm looking for batch tool that can change codec "writing library" field, like MPEG4Modifier does.
I tried many ffmpeg arguments but nothing works

btw. Mpeg4Modifier is open source (code is included inside archive)
