  1. I've gotten a few DVDs from this collector in the past, and the quality is always on point. If somebody recognizes these MENUS, please let me know.

    Much appreciated

  2. This is not much help but none of my Magnavox standalone DVR/DVD recorders have this Menu pattern.
So probably not Magnavox. I have also had older Magnavox in the past & I do not remember them having this Menu.

Google Image did not come up with anything either.

chef2 I believe I remember you from another video forum more than one actually.
    Is this correct ?

  3. Hello,

Yeah its definitely not from Magnavox (have a few DVD recorders from them myself). After googling the second image I came across a reddit page where someone posted that exact DVD menu. Unfortunately the author didn't specify the brand.

I'm also a member on digitalfaq, but haven't posted there in YEARS.

I want to say Philips, early models, around 2004. Not confident though.
    Maybe LiteOn?
Some recorders had a selection for menu types.

    @chef2, you're always welcome there.

  5. @chef2,
I'm not sure if the "chef" I remember had a number after his user name.
The forum was the now defunct CD Freaks.
I always hated the name when they changed it to "myce" (defunct also).

I had a old Nero 7 on an XP partition & I checked the default menu on it .
Some similarities but not the same.

  6. @lordsmurf: I appreciate the welcome

@lordsmurf @cholla: After doing more "research" I don't think its from Philips either (there's a disc however the splash screen is pretty different). Ditto with LiteOn (nothing came up on google) although I'm not confident in that and could absolutely be wrong.

Very well could be a custom menu, but I would like to be sure. If anyone has a definitive answer, please post it here.
