  1. Hello!
Please help me fix this video. I tried MergeChroma(TemporalMedian(2)) and it helped a bit.

  2. It has almost all possible defects I can think of. Ditch it and try to recapture it losslessly 4:2:2 using a decent VCR. Maybe the tape is just that bad, I don't know.
Last resort convert it to B&W. It's somewhat less annoying IMO. Hopefully someone else has a better proposal

  3. Hello!
Yes, I tried converting to black and white and then colorizing with AI, but again the color and light pulsations remain and the AI reproduces its own colors, regardless of the image I insert into AI. The rest of the video is good, only about 5 to 10 minutes (out of 2 hours) have these problems with chrome and lume pulsations.

Loose cable or loose connector(s)? Check the cabling.

  6. Hello!
I've tried capturing multiple times (SVideo, video recorder RTV 966 HIFI) and it's always the same.

  7. How did you capture the tape? What did you use to stabilize the picture (TBC of the RTV966 enabled, external TBC or workaround)? Well, maybe the tape is just in very bad condition towards the end, a poor copy or whatever. Seems to be LP/SLP/EP or worse.....

  8. Hello!
the VCR has TBC and was on. It also seems to me that it could be a problem in the tape. A significant improvement is when I run through MergeChroma(TemporalMedian(2)) but it is not a complete fix. Jabago's suggestion in one of the threads, YtoUV(VtoY().Invert, VtoY(), last), works for me nicely instead of ChromaShift() (not on this clip).
