Corel VideoStudio X10 freezes

VS was working fine in the last project. Now, it freezes after every edit, even in the previous project. Minimizing then maximizing the window unfreezes the program, and I can continue working...until the next edit. My graphics drivers are up to date. Can anyone lend me a hand to fix this issue?

perhaps this version VS X10 in not supported by latest Windows OS.

Thanks for responding. Somehow, the issue became resolved. I did nothing new to fix the problem. Perhaps an automatic Windows update helped. Who knows?
