Some of my burnt DVD's freeze in my standalone DVDplayer.

I have a "small" problem.
Some of my DVDR's freeze in my standalone player.
When I use my DVDplayer in my computer it works fine.
For example: Chapter 15 in "The One" makes my standalone player to freeze and i have to turn the player off to be able to do anything.
The movie works fine on my computer.
I've had this problem with a few of my "creations".
Does anyone know why ?

Odd, what player and what Rs?

Can you recommend a player that plays burnt DVDR's well overall ?

My Toshiba SD-K700 and SD-K710 had the same problem when I was using VivaStar DVD-R media. When I switched to Optodisc DVD-R media, the problem 99% went away (still happens once in a great while).

please search the forum before posting a question, we have this question it seems like every other day

its a media problem and nearly always occurs towards the outside of the disc (near the end of a film), copy it to another dvdr and try it, it should be fine

No one really knows why a few dvdrs from a pack do this, probably bad manufacturing
