for example on my browser on my pc i can go to developers tools then network and find the mpd link for the video that is being play
but what about a video playing from my android phone using an app how to capture the mpd link ?

You can set up a proxy, Charles/proxyman/http toolkit for exemple. Or directly on your device with HttpCanary. You may have to get through ssl unpinning to get it works.

You need to activate SSL proxying, right click on the host and enable it.

I am facing same kind issue : I can not see complete hls/m3u8 link for 2M MONDE MAROC TV due to encountered ssl cert error.
This tv channel is only available on Mobile phone, Android my2M Application.

Could someone help me to see and get the live Stream tv link please ? How can i go through ssl error with Android 14 version device ?

Anyway even with Fiddler, Charles Proxy, Http toolkit, NetCapture, PCAPdroid, I can just see the begining of the link which is https://cdn-globecast.akamaized.net:443

Previously working link was : https://cdn-globecast.akamaized.net/live/eds/2m_monde/hls_video_ts_tuhawxpiemz257adfc/2m_monde.m3u8

You can do that on an Android if you use Kiwi Browser. It has developer tools installed.

Sorry my error. If using an app - first the app has to be amenable to working through httptoolkit or any other kind of proxy. The important ones (the ones you want!) probably aren't. If they do work with httptoolkit it is just a case of installing an httptoolkit certificate on your phone and running the app and looking at the intercepted traffic.

If the app will not work via a proxy then you will need to pull the app apart and rebuild so it can be intercepted. I tried it once and it is a PITA - search yandex for tools to do this - there is nothing here on this wasteland.

People who've rebuilt a corrected app could post them here, but, of course, no-one does.
