    Hi,

    I’m going to download a big file (> 1GB) with yt-dlp and want to increase the download speed as much as possible but find out it doesn’t work with the „-N 10“ option. Why?

    -N 10 can only help for fragmented files (that usually consist of mpd or m3u8 files).

    For faster Downloads with yt-dlp use the little Tool aria2c.

    1. ⁠Install aria2c
    2. ⁠Add --downloader aria2c to your yt-dlp Command.
    3. Be Happy
