Hi, I just fixed my V8000 and it's working and in great condition. I just got one little problem that I can't figure out where is that sound coming from or what that is. Can someone listen on 4 and 5 second on video that grinding sound appear. Also that same sound appear when I switch bridge from VHS to VHS-C and back. I don't know if that sound is normal because I didn't have that vcr before or ever bump into one.

I was listening today, and I couldn't find out where is that sound coming from. It sounds like gear grinding.
I did a little reasearch on yt and I noticed that on this video in 18:13 same sound is happening to this guy when he switch full to compact mode. Mine is doing same sound on same command plus when REW or FF and when I insert vhs-c tape sometimes. Sometimes it switch normal without any griding sound, but most of the time grinding sound appear.

I'll try to test a bit more and figure it out somehow.Last edited by Thermaltake; 21st Dec 2024 at 15:58.
