Hi all,
I hope this is the right forum... I read all the descriptions and it looks like this topic could've been in a couple of categories.
At any rate, I purchased some DVD-R's from Supermediastore.com which were the Ritek brand. After attempting to burn CD's all day sunday, I finally gave up. Each CD would fail during the write process. I tried almost every piece of software I could and none worked.
The 5 discs that were bundled with the unit were the vivastar brand and each of those worked fine.
I've spent the last couple of hours plowing through all the threads I could find regarding media compatiblity, however, most appear to be fairly old (ie Jun, july this year) and I'm curious if things have changed any (knowing how fast things change in the computer world).
Supermediastore.com was truly pleasant to deal with on the return, so I ask you, what brands should I look at that are under $2.00 per 100 and I really wouldn't mind purchasing from them again.
Thank you in advance.
Ken

I have had good luck with K-hyper DVD's, and memorex, as well as the vivastars and smart disk DVD's.
Also used with Panasonic DVD-RAM (no cartridge), Comp USA -RAM (cartridge) and Imation -RAM (cartridge).Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?
