  1. I screen recorded 25fps video in 60 fps so every 2-3 frames are the same. Is it possible to convert that in 25 fps and get exactly the same original video, with every frame at exact time like in original video. For that I think I just need to determine at which time in milisecond frame changes and tell program to take first frame at that time. Can any program do that?

  2. You can use a smart decimator like TDecimate() in AviSynth: TDecimate(Cycle=12, CycleR=7) will convert 60p to 25p by selectively removing duplicates. It can adjust to cadence changes on-the-fly.

  3. I used decimate filter in avidemux and deleted duplicate frames, now I get every frame with variable duration. I want duration of all frames to be extended/lowered to 40 miliseconds (constant 25 fps). How can I do that?

  4. That filter deletes duplicates but leaves you with a variable frame rate video with the remaining frames with their original timestapes. I don't think you can do a smart decimation with avidemux.
