My nVidia 2060 Super with 8gb is starting to make some pretty loud fan noises in my video editing PC.
I have a new/sealed Gigabyte AMD 7700XT with 12gb sitting here.
Rather than going out and buying another nVidia card, should I just swap in the AMD card I already have?
I would use DDU to remove the nVidia drivers to make install easier.
What effects could I expect to see afterwards on this PC? I don't game, but I do video editing with it. Any issues with switching an editing PC from an nVidia card to an AMD as far as editing/rendering go?
Or should I bite the bullet and get a new nVidia 4060?
Thanks!

Maybe a recent 2060 update caused that issue. Try backing off the last driver update. My RTX 2060 still runs cool but I have not updated it to the latest drivers.
