Potplayer causes Windows 10 freeze

Hi.

Been a fan of Potplayer for years but recently at various times when playing a video the PC freezes and I have to do a hard reboot. I've tried installing without choosing the additional codecs but it still freezes, sometimes after a few minutes, sometimes after a day or so.

Any ideas would be most welcome.

try this - Launch PotPlayer and press the F5 key to access the Preferences window.
Click on the Reset button located at the bottom left corner of the window
This will restore all settings to their default values, including the playback position in playlist.

see if you still have the freeze issue.

Will try that and report back. I'm not hopeful tho' because the last time I tried it, I ran it without changing anything and it froze in less than an hour.
