  1. Note that the scripts were largely symbolic, not literal. For example, BuildSomeSortOfMask() is not referring to a particular filter with that name, it's simply saying to build a mask using a filter or sequence of filters. The idea is to use an alpha mask to (statically or dynamically) limit the effects to certain parts of the frame.

    Thank you for the clarification. What are the ways to generate a dynamic mask? That is open a door and another door appears and so on.

  3. Masks are situation dependent. You can generate dynamic masks with any number of functions. mt_edge() for edge detection, mt_motion() for movement detection, mt_binarize() for a simple brightess matte, coloryuv() for a brightness alpha mask, etc.
