  1. There is a commercial I want to capture that aired during a show I have on my cloud PVR. I can access my PVR through my web browser but cannot capture the video with a screen recorder or figure out how to download it using the Network XHR info.

    The provider is Rogers (Canada) but it's the same equipment and infrastructure as Comcast Xfinity in the US (the HTML source code of the page that plays the video makes reference to Comcast and Xfinity).

    I am hoping someone knows how to download from Xfinity using the browser and something like ffmpeg which I can then use to download the one thing I want to capture. The request URL for the video appears to be

    with the fragment number at the end changing on both.

    Has anyone found a way to grab these fragments and made them usable?

    what is the commercial about ?? you might try youtube
    to see if the commercial is on there.

    The first thing I did was check YouTube. It's not there. It was a commercial done by the station to promote an upcoming event.
