  1. I managed to burn in the subtitles using ffmpeg, but it's not the same. What should I do?

    Here's my command line, by the way:
    ffmpeg -i "input.mkv" -vf "subtitles=kk.srt" Output.mkv

  2. Look at your subtitle file, I suspect it contains styling information which causes the problem.
    You should either, adjust your subtitle file or try overwriting the styling using subtitles-sub-options, read: https://www.ffmpeg.org/ffmpeg-all.html#subtitles-1
    for example, using "subtitles=kk.srt:force_style='Fontsize=12'" to force the font size to 12

    Ps.: the two screenshots might also be simply using different subtitle renderers. (not all subtitle renders that are available in Player XY are also available in FFmpeg)
