    I have noticed that there are a lot of ellipses (...) in my SRT file and I want to check if it is correct needs to have ellipses if not then remove it and replace it with a new punction when needed.

  2. Ellipses are unnecessary in an srt file.
    Open your srt file in notepad and replace all instances of (...) with ...

  8. It might be a Unicode ellipses and not three periods.
    If you haven’t already copy the ellipses and paste it into the replace box and see what happens.
