I couldn't find a working Vdocipher script so I wrote my own - https://github.com/Diazole/vdocipher-dl.

This requires you to generate a wvd using pywidevine:

pywidevine create-device -k "KEY_PATH" -c "BLOB_PATH" -t "ANDROID" -l 3 -o "OUTPUT_PATH"

Hey man, did you update this script? Also I saw TPD Keys updated script. I already have video downlloaded from cloudfrnt server but the browser player uses vdcpher apis.
Can I use TPD Keys?
I have CDM, pssh, lic but I saw many people getting their CDM banned. Is there any demo website I can test?

The token is a one-time use, so using it repeatedly in a request is pointless.

Hello girod, I got my setup working tested on bitmovin all thanks to @notaghost
Now I want to test on vdocipher. I realised i need a fresh token to be used for vdocipher-dl.
I can see token in request by using F12 but that has already been used i am guessing

can someone please share steps how to use fiddler or any other method and get a fresh token? (i want to avoid getting my cdm banned trying this)

Finally I succeed after dumping a clean CDM from a real device. Emulator CDMs doesn't work with vdocipher even if videos play fine in the browser.

I'm getting this error everytime I send a request. I'm using a unique CDM which I just extracted, and testing with https://www.vdocipher.com/video-security/, so this is what I'm sending:

That usually refers to a CDM problem, in fact there was a specific vdocipher error telling you to update your Android version (8 is quite old now). Just to be sure, can your device play this?

Just upgraded to Android 11 (LineageOS, non-stock) but the key dumping script couldn't find any functions to hook, so will try to downgrade to Android 10 and see if I have more success there.

I finally managed to dump a CDM from Android 10, but I end up getting the same auth error when using Diazole's vdocipher.py script (https://github.com/Diazole/vdocipher-dl):

I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. I properly block the auth requests in the browser -- the video says "6007. Unable to connect to license server. Try removing adblock or try different internet connection.". I then use the token in Diazole's script and I get the error.

Can anyone please try using the script to see whether I'm the only one who has this problem, or something changed on vdo's end and the script no longer works?
