YT throttling and how to fix it. (YT-DLP)

A few weeks ago, YT-dlp YT downloads suffered extreme throttling. The matter appeared to have been solved in the previous update to the program. But this appears a false dawn and the issue has seemingly returned.

Now the message that appears in cmd states that phantom.js should solve it but being the sort that relies on executables I do not have the foggiest of how to proceed and since I also read that this 'fix' is also no longer in development I would like to ask a few pertinent questions.


1. I do see another update to YT-DLP so does this, as claimed, sort this out ? (would save a lot of trouble)
2. Failing that...
a) Is phantom.js 'safe' and not interfere with regular browsing.
b) How would I go about installing it. I do not see an .exe (could be wrong) and pretty pls do not ask me to even attempt to compile it.
c) If I can jump these hurdles will this even help or must I accept the slowish YT downloads.

Yes. Only certain formats f 136 + 140 (whatever they mean) come to mind. Sorry for not making that clearer.

But there is still throttling on my chosen method of downloading for this sample but nothing as bad as before (same message tho)

For the record.

I have now tried the latest version of YT-DLP and the previous throttling is not there. Mind you that was also the case after the previous previous so the jury is still out on this.
