I am trying to decide whether to purchase MainConcept's MPEG Encoder but I am running into a little bit of trouble.
Using SmartRipper to demux the movie to a file produces an M2V file. I use this M2V file as the input for MPEG Encoder. However, when MainConcept's MPEG Encoder reads it, it displays the video info incorrectly. It displays the wrong frame numbers and movie length. I've tried to use the original VOB file and still MPEG Encoder displays the wrong frame number and movie length. Not sure if this is a problem with MPEG Encoder or is it just SmartRipper's creation of the M2V. If I play the resulting M2V from SmartRipper via WinDVD, it plays the whole movie.
Has anyone seen this type of problem?![]()
