Good Morning to All,
In my continuing quest to solve my audio sync problems with Vdub at 480x480, I noticed a very interesting fact (at least to me). For a baseline comparison, I captured a 352x240 60 second clip. I then demultiplexed it with TempGenc. I then rendered it into a std vcd mpg format using the separate audio and video files. It took about 5 minutes, give or take a bit. The interesting part is I took the same clip and just rendered it to exactly the same format used with the separate streams. This time it took nearly 15 minutes to render and the resultant file size was better than double the first (separate stream) rendering.
Any clues or should I always demux then do the render to save time and space. ??
Ed
