Drive Jumpers Windows 10

Should this drive have any jumpers on it when used as a STORAGE drive in Windows 10?

It keeps spinning up randomly on it's own and it didn't do that before in XP.

right click on your HDD - click properties - under General settings uncheck the "Allow files on this drive to have contents indexed

I saw that option but was unsure exactly what it would do. I'll do it now.
