I was trying to watch an mpeg on windows media player 7.1 the other day, and notcied that there was no sound. i checked the volume controls, and it's not even sending any sound to the speakers. but the weird thing is, everything else works fine and has sound, even wmp 6. i guess my main concern is really b/c i cant watch some of my files anymore (like wmv) b/c if i open them in any other program, the picture gets all distorted. so does anyone know what the problem can be? i checked microsoft, and they dont have any info on their webpage about this, and i think payin them $35 for direct support is too damn much. anyway, thanx in advance to anyone that can help.
