    Hi, I did not think of this factor before, i came across that one of the devices connected to the computer is not hdcp supported device alert. From then on, I could not see the signals from the source device to the sink device, or connected device.
    are the versions of hdmi cable determining the hdcp status of a device.
    Are the cabling inside the versions of different kinds of version, are made differently.
    Say, that these are made so that , it does not pass on to the other devices that is connected to the second device
    please say something on this

    Only difference between the cables is:
    1. Support for ethernet channel or not
    2. QUALITY of build (=ability to go longer, or to accommodate higher bitrates, WITH less interference/noise)

    That's it.

    ALL must support HDCP. But that isn't your issue.
