  1. I've gotten into contact with an avid collector of old photography, especially from WWII.

    He has in his possession a collection of original 9,5mm recordings taken by a German family in the 30's to 40's

    I have bought from him 3 small reels with 1940 nazi-related material. The films are in very good condition with only some lines.



    The detail and dynamic range is astonishing, most are sharp and have good exposure.

    Unfortunately for the remaining WWII reels he wants between 380 and 550 euro. I contacted him and requested a lower price, unfortunately no reply...
    I am also interested in buying the family footage taken in the 30's, which are thankfully much cheaper.


    My plan is to have these scanned in 4K with a film scanner and the complete reels published on YouTube in 4K.
