I have encoded a Xvid AVI to mpeg2 with CCE Using this script

    LoadPlugin("C:\Program Files\NimoCodec Pack\Mpeg2dec\MPEG2DEC.dll")
    AviSource("E:\Video Editing\Divx\Peter Pan.avi")
    BicubicResize(432,446,1/3,1/3,0,4,608,344)
    AddBorders(24,17,24,17)
    ResampleAudio(44100)

The source is 23.976 fps, When i try to burn it with vcd easy it checks the file as usual when loading it

Then it says 480*480 is not a compatable size for a (NTSC)Film SVCD

    I don't understand why ?

I used FitCD to make the script

If i load the same AVI into tmpgenc using the wizard and selecting NTSCfilm template it sets the ratio to 480*480 greyed out so this must be the right size can anyone help ?

  4. Ignore it and burn it. Turn off the 'compliance checks' and burn anyway. I'm using CVD now and NOTHING is compliant, but it all plays good on my DVD player so dont worry about it

Thanks kevin I Burnt it and it does work ok

I just wondered what TMPGenc does when encoding that CCE doesn't, Because you never get that error with VCDeasy after Encoding with Tmpgenc
