I have an mpeg of a home video, can convert to avi if necessary.
I want to chop the file into short clips to reassemble in MediaStudio.
What is the best way to do this?
Thanks

I would suggest using the Project Wizard in TMPGenc. When you follow the prompts and get to the Filter Settings page, select Source Range and use that editor.
If you are somewhat adept at TMPGEnc, you can repeat this process over and over, saving each process in the batch file, executing the batch file when you are ready to do all your editing at once.Hello.
