  1. Hi I would like to make small clips from larger movies, videos etc. For example I'm watching X-Men and I like a certain part of the movie (10 minutes footage) which I would like to cut/copy for later viewing.

I don't want to do anything fancy with the clips, just want to keep the important parts of a movie for later viewing.

How do I come about doing that?
    Thanks in advance.

  2. You need a video editing program. You will also need to get the movie to your PC. Shrink or similar can get it to your PC, then there are a number of editing programs that can cut out all the unwanted bits and then you just render what is left into one movie clip.

  3. Just use shrink in reauthor mode. Drag main movie into left pane, set beginning and end points of the clip you want and click backup. This will give you your clip as DVD disc or DVD files onto your HD depending on your choice.

This is tricky if there is a number of parts you want. You would have to keep creating a new folder to save each clip into and then rename them all to put them back into one folder later.
