I'm using toast to burn mpg files into a VCD. The problem is for many of the files, i get an error message that the file "can not be used to make a video CD. Please use 'video CD' option in your mpeg encoder." I don't understand it because as far as I know they are regular MPEG-1 files, the extention is .mpg. If they aren't mpeg files, then what are they, and is there a way that I can encode them to Video CD files so that I can burn them as VCDs.
I would appreciate any help that you can give me
