  1. I followed the instructions for TMPE and everything looks ok but when I try to create a vcd using Roxio ECC 5 it says that it will not work. The only way it will work is after I encode it using the 1 CD process I have to go over it again with TMPE using the regular VCD template to get it to work. Anyone else have this problem?

Fit on one cd VCD != VCD format

Don't expect programs to jsut work with these non-compliant .mpg formats. My opinion... stick with VCD.

  3. I followed the instructions in here several months ago. Until a few days ago I've not had the first problem. Stick with what works, then once you understand what's going on, you may want to try shifting gears.
    Thanks,
    Greg

  4. Try using VCDEasy.
Most of the recording programs try to bring everything back to the VCD standard off 1150 rather than the reduced bit rate rate that the one-disk method used. Thats why reencoding with the VCD template helped.

Thats right everything trys to look for standard VCD thats why some programs think its not a valid VCD file......Its VCD but at the reduced bitrate nec for one disc movies it becomes non-standard VCD.

Nero will let you burn as is....just uncheck the "standard compliant" box on the first tab after selecting VCD.

  7. Download Nero uncheck the following option in the Advanced menu by closing the Wizard.

    Create Standard CD Compliant and
    CD-i Compilation.

    Uncheck these options..
    Hope it works !!
