    Just updated to TMPGEnc 2.58, all settings are at default. When I encode a Divx film to VCD (Pal) I have no sound at all. I never had this problem before. Anyone have any ideas what is causing this?

    Whoops I think Ive found the answer in another post....should have searched first sorreeee!!

    Ill try this.......

    TMPGEnc Plus, only supports 3 types of Mpeg 2 codec's, the most popular is provided when you install PowerDVD 4

    In TMPGEnc, check your settings
    Select options > environmental settings
    click the VFAPI plug-in tab
    right click the "DirectShow" and select higher priority, do this several times until its at the top with a value of 4
