You might check with ChrisPC Free VideoTube Downloader, in the free version it lets you download bitrates under 600 kb/s

Any suggestions for downloading podcasts for which no download provisions are made ? That is -- I guess -- with the audio equivalent of screen capture . . . because they can be played to your PC in real time ? Using trial and (all) error right now, going through a few programs. (The websites in question are not on the lists for support by programs like VideoGet and TVdownloader.)

You can download it with copy/paste mode with ChrisPC VideoTube Downloader Pro, but you need a license for it.

Thanks for your reply... Hm, 40 Dollars sounds quite a lot just for downloading 3 clips. :/ Maybe someone here is using the pro version of it?

Never mind -- for now. Despite their not being on the supported sites list, and quite to my surprise, TVdownloader has been able to snag the podcasts I was after. Well done, Xplorr !
