I've tried using Nero and CDRWin to burn an 800mb avi to cd and though the blank media are 870mb/99min I still keep getting a message that the disc is still to small. Any suggestions on what I can do? Thanks in advance.

In Nero, File / Preferences , setup the size of your media to 99 min....
In the same option you have the expert TAB. Maybe you want to enable OVERBURN here, but you will not need it.....your file is 800 Mb....
DONT touch all the other options in Preferences....
Other thing you need to check : does your CD burner accepts this kind of media (99 min) ?
You can just try......first make a SIMULATION and then the final BURN. -
Thanks Hal99. I tried what you suggested. Maybe my burner doesn't recognize 99 min. media. I'm using a Lite-On 1210B. Any other way to get the avi on to a 700mb disc short of splitting the avi file?
