    Im using VLC 2.2.1 and when a user attempts to view the advance options, they cannot. However, if I log in as an admin, I can see the advance options. Anyone know a reason for this?

    Does it work if you right click on the VLC Media player shortcut and choose run as administrator?

    What happens when you click Show settings All? Nothing?

    THe portable version or installed version?

    And I would search in https://forum.videolan.org/ and see if anyone else have similar problems with the advanced options.
