Long time since I have posted here. Something simple to bug about this time though.
I am currently working with subtitles for a single video. Basic SRT file tagged to an MKV. Long story made short it seems like the runtime of the subtitles as a whole is 'shrunk' by a minute or so compared to the video file itself. As in the display of the subtitle lines advance sooner than the video ever so slowly and progressively.
What I am essentially looking for is an editor where I can edit the time and duration of each line and shift every line after that forward or backwards to match? So if I have line 1 that starts 5 seconds in and lasts 5 seconds. If I either move it back to starting at 2.5 seconds or change the duration to 2.5 seconds (essentially making the end time of that line end at 7.5 instead of 10 seconds), the duration of all future lines stays but they are all shifted back 2.5 seconds. This way it makes it that much easier to fine tune things.
Anything like this exist? I'd greatly appreciate it.![]()
